The Ogun State Coordinator of the Nigerian Agricultural Cooperative Organization (NACO), Pastor Olatunji Abogunrin, has congratulated Senator Adeola Solomon Olamilekan on his emergence as the consensus governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the forthcoming election in Ogun State.
Speaking on behalf of all NACO members in Ogun State, Abogunrin described the development as a reflection of the party’s commitment to unity, stability, and progressive governance.
This was contained in a statement issued on Tuesday and made available to journalists in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.
He commended Senator Olamilekan’s dedication, resilience, and hard work, noting that his emergence as the party’s flagbearer was well deserved. According to him, the candidate’s leadership holds great promise for farmers and the agricultural sector in the state.
“On behalf of all NACO members in Ogun State, we congratulate Senator Olamilekan on this well-deserved emergence. His people-centered agenda gives us confidence that farmers’ interests will be protected and agricultural development will be prioritized,” Abogunrin said.
He further lauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his fatherly role and support for Adeola’s candidacy, as well as Governor Dapo Abiodun for his leadership in ensuring consensus among party stakeholders ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Abogunrin also appreciated NACO members and farmers across Ogun State and Nigeria for their continued contributions to agriculture and food security, urging them to remain committed to advancing the sector for national development.
He reaffirmed the organization’s readiness to support initiatives that will enhance agricultural productivity and improve the livelihoods of farmers across the state.
