The Convener of the Ola Aina New Recovery and Political Movement (ONRPM), Hon. Amb. Oladayo Aina, has described the unveiling of Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola’s (Yayi) governorship campaign office in Abeokuta as a strategic step that reflects commitment, organisation and confidence ahead of the 2027 Ogun State governorship election.
Ola Aina, a grassroots politician from Yewa North Local Government and former aspirant for the Ogun State House of Assembly, said the establishment of the campaign office demonstrates that Senator Yayi is approaching the race with a clear sense of purpose and a structured plan for engaging the people of Ogun State.
He noted that beyond serving as a campaign headquarters, the office would provide a platform for effective coordination of political activities, stakeholder engagement and the mobilisation of supporters across the state.
According to him, the growing enthusiasm surrounding Senator Yayi’s aspiration is a reflection of the confidence many residents have in his leadership qualities, legislative experience and commitment to the development of Ogun State.
Ola Aina urged members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and supporters of the senator to remain united and conduct themselves peacefully throughout the political process, stressing that the focus should remain on presenting practical ideas capable of advancing the state’s development.
He expressed optimism that the unveiling of the campaign office would further energise party faithful and grassroots supporters in all the 20 local government areas, while encouraging young people and other stakeholders to actively participate in the democratic process.
Ola Aina therefore wished Senator Yayi a successful campaign and prayed that the 2027 governorship election would be peaceful, credible and conducted in an atmosphere that reflects the democratic values of Ogun State.
