The commission displayed the information contained in Form EC9 at its offices nationwide on Saturday, in line with the provisions of the Electoral Act.
According to INEC, the publication is in compliance with Section 29(3) of the Electoral Act, 2026, which requires the commission to make available the personal particulars, affidavits and academic credentials submitted by candidates within 21 days of receiving their nominations from political parties.
The electoral body said the documents are available for inspection at its national, state and local government offices to ensure transparency and enable members of the public to verify information submitted by candidates seeking elective office.
The published list includes 19 presidential candidates, their respective running mates and the political parties sponsoring their bids for the 2027 presidential election.
