The Ogun State Government has celebrated the Head of Service, Mr. Kehinde Onasanya, on his 60th birthday and retirement from the state civil service after years of dedicated and meritorious service.
Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun described the milestone as a fitting moment to honour a career defined by discipline, professionalism, and steady leadership. Onasanya has served in various capacities across the state bureaucracy, earning a reputation for calm administration and institutional stability.
Throughout his tenure, he was credited with strengthening the operations of the Ogun State Public Service. Colleagues noted that his approach to governance helped maintain continuity and efficiency in the implementation of government policies and programmes under the current administration.
The Head of Service was also recognised for his loyalty and integrity in public office. Administrators who worked with him said his sense of duty and commitment to due process set a standard for younger officers in the service.
Onasanya’s institutional knowledge was highlighted as one of his lasting contributions. His experience was frequently drawn upon in shaping administrative reforms and ensuring that civil service procedures aligned with the state’s development agenda.
