The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Ogun State Command has convicted 22 traffic offenders during a mobile court sitting held in Ijebu-Ode on April 24, 2026.
The court session, which took place at the Ijebu-Ode Unit Command, was presided over by Magistrate O.D. Odunsi. The offenders were charged for various traffic violations along the corridor.
At the end of the proceedings, all 22 offenders were found guilty, giving a 100 percent conviction rate. No offender was discharged.
In total, 70 offences were recorded during the session, with number plate violations identified as the most common offence among the motorists.
Speaking after the exercise, the Sector Commander, Oludare Ogunjobi, said the mobile court is part of efforts to reduce reckless driving and improve road safety.

He warned motorists to ensure their vehicles are properly registered and that their number plates are clearly displayed at all times. He added that the command will continue to take strict action against traffic offenders.
The FRSC also called on the public to support its efforts in making the roads safer for all users.
