The ancient city of Abeokuta was agog on Monday, December 22, 2025, as His Royal Majesty,Oba Dr. Mutiu Alani Adedimeji Oyede Lawal Sijuade Adukonu 1,Oloola of ilara land, crowned Fresh FM presenter, Moses Fakeye, popularly known as Ajede, as the Oba AfiEde Seso of Broadcasters.
The historic conferment took place during a colourful 3-in-1 event the Birthday Celebration, Ajede Crew Graduation, and Unveiling of a Studio Project held at an open space beside Deeper Life Church, Leme/Sam Ewange area of Abeokuta. The date also marked the birthday of Moses Fakeye.
Speaking at the event as the Royal Father of the Day, Oba Dr. Mutiu Alani Oyede Lawal described Moses Fakeye as a hardworking, talented, humble, and respectful broadcaster with admirable character.
The monarch expressed deep affection for the celebrant, noting that the crown bestowed on him was well deserved.
According to the king, Moses Fakeye stands out among his colleagues in the broadcasting profession and has consistently impacted lives through training and mentorship.
He emphasized that this was not the first set of students graduating under Ajede Crew, adding that past graduates have continued to excel in their various careers.
Oba Oyede Lawal also advised the graduating students to emulate the dedication, discipline, and good character of their mentor, stressing that following such footsteps is key to success in the profession.
He concluded with prayers for God’s guidance and blessings upon the graduates and the works of their hands.
Earlier in his address, the Chairman of the Day, Engr. Alhaji Jamiu Ogundele (Jamsalod), founder of the Jamiu Ogundele Foundation, delivered a lecture titled “How Can Someone Be Successful in Life?”
He outlined three major principles: defining one’s path to success and avoiding distractions; developing the right mindset and habits through determination and focus; and maintaining good character, which he said attracts trust and patronage.
In his appreciation speech, Moses Fakeye (Ajede), CEO of Ajede Crew, thanked the royal father, chairman, dignitaries, students, and guests for honouring the Birthday/Ajede Crew Graduation and Studio Unveiling event with their presence and support.
Four students graduated from Ajede Crew and were presented with certificates. They are MC Gold, Yeyemeso, Kola Omo Adekola, and Ola Olaribigbe.
Several awards were also presented at the event. The Royal Knight of Honour Award was conferred on the royal father, Oba Dr. Mutiu Alani Oyede Lawal.
The Transformative Impact Award was given to Engr. Alhaji Jamiu Ogundele (Jamsalod). Lavender Company received the Pillar of Innovation Award, while Bendel was honoured with the Outstanding Achievement Award.
The event was graced by notable dignitaries including Alawiye Federation , Emmanuel Oke, Olufemi Oyenekan , Kasnanty, and other distinguished guests, adding colour and prestige to the memorable occasion.
