The National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Lagos State Chapter, on Friday, October 24, 2025, held its maiden Coordinators Exchange Retreat in Ogun State, aimed at fostering unity, collaboration, and shared learning among youth leaders across both states.
The event brought together key stakeholders, including the NYCN Lagos State Chairman, Engr. Ibrahim Olalekan Adigun, and the National Deputy President of NYCN, Comrade Asoro, alongside other youth leaders from Lagos.
Speaking at the event, the Vice President of NYCN, Southwest Zone, Comrade  Kehinde Damilola Olorunjubelo (KDO) Who hosted the delegation, warmly welcomed the visitors to the Gateway State.

He commended Engr. Adigun for his insightful and impactful leadership, describing him as a model of commitment and innovation within the youth movement.
Comrade Olorunjubelo also encouraged the coordinators to maximize the opportunity of belonging to the Council by building strong and meaningful relationships, noting that such connections can shape their personal and professional futures.

He shared a personal story of how he secured employment through a fellow comrade he met within the NYCNÂ a testament, he said, to the power of networking and camaraderie within the youth body.
He further urged participants to sustain the positive culture of healthy competition and impactful community engagement that the Lagos State Council is known for, while wishing them a fulfilling and memorable stay in Ogun State.
