The Peace Initiative Committee, a non-profit organization, has congratulated the Ogun State Commissioner of Police, Lanre Ogunlowo on his birthday, commending his exceptional leadership and unwavering commitment to ensuring peace and security across the state.
In a statement signed by the Committee’s State Public Relations Officer, Comrade Ifebola Togunwa, the group extolled CP Ogunlowo for his visionary approach to policing, which has continued to foster safety and stability within Ogun communities.
Chairman of the Committee, Comrade Abioro Akeem Anthony, expressed profound appreciation to the Police Commissioner for his constant support, guidance, and timely intervention in matters requiring his attention. He described CP Ogunlowo as “a father figure and dependable ally in the collective fight against cultism and criminality in the state,” noting that his proactive policing strategy has significantly curtailed cult-related violence since he assumed office.
Comrade Anthony further assured the Police Commissioner of the association’s continued collaboration and support in promoting lasting peace across the state.
“Your commitment and results-driven leadership have brought about remarkable improvements in policing across Ogun State. We encourage you to remain steadfast in your noble service, and we pray for continued wisdom, strength, and divine protection as you carry out your duties,” the statement added.
