ABEOKUTA – October 5, 2025 – In a surprise announcement, the Ogun State Government has declared that there will be school tomorrow, Monday, October 6th.
The directive was issued moments ago by the Deputy Governor, Engr. Noheemot Oyedele-Salako, who was representing Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun.
The announcement came during the grand finale of the 2025 World Teacher’s Day celebration held at the June 12 Cultural Centre in Kuto, Abeokuta.
This official declaration is expected to end any speculation about a potential holiday extension and sends a clear directive to parents, students, and school administrators across the state to prepare for immediate resumption of academic activities.
