Ogun State Security Network Agency, known as Amotekun Corps has announced the commencement of training for candidates who have successfully passed the recent recruitment process in the state.
State Corps Commander, Brigadier General alade Adedigba made this known in a statement issued to global tribune, explaining that the training is part of the agency’s commitment to strengthening the operational capacity and ensuring effective maintenance of law and order within the State.

According to him, The recruitment and training is coming on the heels of the state governor, dapo abiodun’s directives about two months ago, after the passing out parade of 690 newly trained Corps operatives, reflecting the government’s unwavering commitment to enhancing security measures for all residents of Ogun State.
He stated that the shortlisted candidates who are expected to report for the training exercise scheduled to commence from Sunday, 6th to Friday, to 18th July, 2025, at the NYSC Orientation Camp, Sagamu by 8:00am, are encouraged to adequately prepare for this essential training, arriving on time to facilitate a smooth induction process”, the statement reads
“The training initiative, which is in line with Amotekun standard practice, is designed to equip the newly recruited personnel with the necessary skills and knowledge for operational efficiency and effective discharge of their duties
Adedigba, while congratulating the successful candidates, however urged all recruits to adhere to the instructions provided and fully cooperate with the camp officials throughout the training period to ensure its success.
