……Ogun State Barber Association Holds Inauguration Ceremony……
The Ogun State Barber Association, Abeokuta South Local Government chapter, held its 2025 inauguration ceremony for new executives on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at Crescent Hall, Leme, Abeokuta.
Comrade Idris Arole, former President of the Ogun State Barber Association, delivered a keynote address, highlighting the innovative strides made in the barbering profession. He noted that the elite are now involved in barbering work and advised members to focus on hard work and perseverance as keys to success, rather than relying on rituals.
Incoming Chairman Comrade Abdulfatai Abdulateef expressed gratitude to God for the opportunity to serve. He pledged to continue from where the previous leaders stopped, emphasizing the importance of unity, self-belief, and hard work among barbers.
Comrade Abdulateef also cautioned members against the pursuit of quick wealth or involvement in money rituals. He encouraged them to live in love and harmony, believing in themselves and their abilities.
The mother of the day, Mrs. Mosurat Soge, declared her love for the barbering profession and prayed for prosperity upon all barbers. Her presence added a touch of warmth and encouragement to the event.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by esteemed elders of the Ogun State Association of Barbers, including Aare Tajudeen Anifowose, Oloye Olujimi Shodiya, Omoba Lookman Adedamola, Comrade Hassan Idris Arole, and Omoba Abdulateef Adegboyega, the State President.
The successful inauguration ceremony marked a significant milestone for the Ogun State Barber Association, Abeokuta South Local Government chapter, as they embark on a new journey with their newly elected executives.
