The Feyintolorun Community Development Association Women Group recently marked a significant milestone with their 12th anniversary celebration, launching new projects and presenting awards to deserving individuals.
The event, attended by prominent figures, including Mr. Oyetunji Tailiat, CDA Chairman of Feyintolorun Community Development Association, highlighted the group’s contributions to the community.
In his address, Mr. Tailiat emphasized the women’s group role in improving electricity and signage in the community. He noted that last year, they donated a concrete pole for stable power supply and this year, a sign post.
Mrs. Oladipupo Ramote, Women Representative of Feyintolorun Community, stressed the importance of unity among women and advised community members to emulate their love and cooperation.
Mrs. Toriola DORCAS, Ifedapo Area CDC Women Representative, praised the awardees for their significant contributions to community development.
Mr. Daudu Ganiyu, Secretary of the community, commended the women’s respect for their husbands, citing them as role models for moving the community forward.
Mr. Odeyemi Gabriel, Local Government Officer, encouraged attendees to join community associations, emphasizing their importance as a direct link between the government and the people.
The event culminated in an award presentation ceremony, honoring notable individuals, including Pastor Amosun Olusina, Elder Olatunji Samuel, Mr. Kuyebi Sheriff, Surv. Agbaje L.Adebowale, Dcns. Adejumo Esther, and Chief Nureni Ogunsola.
The 12th anniversary celebration marked a new chapter for the Feyintolorun Community Development Association Women Group, poised to continue making significant progress in community development.
