Secretary of Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Ogun State chapter, Comrade Bunmi Adigun has congratulated the Kurunmi of Ijaye Egbaland, Aare Prof. Lai Labode on his first anniversary.
Comrade Bunnmi Adigun in a congratulatory statement personally signed by him and made available to journalists in Abeokuta said the celebrant is a proud son of ijaye with deep ancestral roots.
He said that the milestone is not only a celebration of one year of his leadership but also a testament to purposeful service, visionary leadership, and unwavering commitment to the progress of our community.
The NUJ scribe added that In just one year, Lai Labode redefined traditional leadership through remarkable transformation, unity, and development.
According to him, Ìjàyè has experienced renewed hope, greater visibility, and a resurgence of pride among its sons and daughters at home and in the diaspora.
