The Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has appointed Alhaji Hon. Ajeigbe U. Ishola as a Consultant to the Ogun State Government.
In a letter obtained by Global Tribune, the appointment letter dated June 9, 2026, and signed by the governor.
In the letter, Governor Abiodun congratulated Hon. Ajeigbe on his appointment and wished him a successful tenure in office.
According to the governor, the appointment is in recognition of Hon. Ajeigbe’s contributions to the development of the state and his commitment to public service.
“Please accept my hearty congratulations on this well-deserved appointment and best wishes for a successful tenure of office,” the governor stated in the letter.
Hon. Ajeigbe is a former councillor who represented Afon Ward in Imeko-Afon Local Government Area between 2021 and 2024. He is also the Ogun State Coordinator of Team DA 4 PBAT 2027, a political support group within the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Global Tribune gathered that the appointment was welcomed and appreciated by his supporters and political associates, who described it as a recognition of his dedication, loyalty, and service to the party and the people of Ogun State.
In his acceptance, Hon. Ajeigbe thanked Governor Abiodun for the confidence reposed in him and pledged to contribute his best toward the continued growth and development of Ogun State.
