Nigerian Afrobeats star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has revealed that maintaining his lifestyle as a global celebrity costs him up to N400 million every month.
The award-winning singer made the disclosure during a recent livestream with streamer Davrel, where he spoke about the financial demands of life in the spotlight.
According to Davido, he spends between $200,000 and $300,000 (approximately N300 million to N400 million) every month, excluding the expenses of his wife, Chioma Adeleke, and other members of his household.
He added that the figure also does not include the cost of purchasing luxury cars and jewellery, indicating that his total spending is even higher.
“I spend between $200,000 and $300,000 every month, and that doesn’t even include my wife’s expenses or the rest of my household. It also doesn’t include expenses for the purchase of luxury cars and jewellery,” he said.
