Farmers under the Ifo/Ewekoro Agbe Community Development Association have expressed their appreciation to the member representing Ifo/Ewekoro Federal Constituency, Hon. Ayokunle Ibrahim Isiaka, popularly known as “Farmers’ Friend,” for providing them with various farm inputs to boost agricultural productivity.
The empowerment programme, held on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, in the Ifo/Ewekoro area, saw farmers receive fertilizers, farm tools, sprayers, and other agricultural materials aimed at supporting their farming activities during the current wet season.
In a statement signed by the Coordinator of the association, Agbe Busayo Soroyeun, and made available to journalists in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, the farmers described the gesture as timely and impactful, noting that it came at a period when farmers needed support most.
According to the statement, the intervention will assist beneficiaries in increasing farm productivity, boosting food production, generating more income, and improving their standard of living.
The farmers pledged to make judicious use of the items received and expressed confidence that the support would contribute significantly to the development of agriculture within the constituency.
They also offered prayers for Hon. Ayokunle Ibrahim Isiaka, thanking him for his continued commitment to the welfare of farmers and rural communities.
“We are grateful for this support, especially during the wet farming season. The fertilizers, sprayers, and other farm tools will go a long way in improving our productivity and livelihood. May God continue to bless and reward Hon. Ayokunle Ibrahim Isiaka for remembering the farmers,” the statement read.
