Engr. Abolore Sodrudeen Ayodeji (ASA) has emerged as the first aspirant to obtain a nomination form for the Abeokuta South Federal Constituency seat ahead of the 2027 general elections.
In a press release signed by the ASA Creative Media Team and made available to journalists in Abeokuta, the state capital, the development was described as a significant step in his political journey.
Ayodeji’s move is widely seen by supporters as a demonstration of early preparation and strong commitment to representing the constituency at the National Assembly. He was accompanied by associates and supporters during the process, which also marked the official unveiling of his “ASA Blueprint” for the constituency.
Speaking through his media team, Ayodeji stated that his ambition is centered on delivering effective, people-oriented representation. He emphasized the need for a new leadership approach rooted in professionalism, strategic planning, and accountability.
According to him, his agenda is anchored on three key pillars—engagement, equity, and progress—aimed at improving the social and economic well-being of residents across the 15 wards in Abeokuta South.
He further pledged to strengthen the relationship between the people and government by promoting policies that reflect the genuine needs of the constituency and ensure fair distribution of resources.
Ayodeji, a registered engineer and project management professional, expressed readiness to bring his expertise into public service. He added that governance must be driven by clear plans and measurable outcomes.
With this development, he has set the pace for other aspirants expected to join the race in the coming months, as political activities gradually intensify ahead of the 2027 general elections.
