The Ogun State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), through its Media Parliament Committee, is set to host governorship aspirant, Senator Iyabo Obasanjo-Bello, at an exclusive media parley in Abeokuta.
The event is part of the NUJ Media Parliament’s ongoing engagement series aimed at providing a credible platform for political actors to present their vision and policy direction to the media and the general public ahead of the forthcoming elections.
Senator Obasanjo-Bello, a leading aspirant under the All Progressives Congress (APC), is expected to interact with journalists drawn from various national and local media organizations across Ogun State. The session will focus on her manifesto, development agenda, and strategic plans for the state.
The parley is scheduled to hold on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at Iwe Iroyin, Abeokuta, with proceedings set to commence at 2:00 PM.
According to the Chairman of the Media Parliament Committee, Comrade Wole Otayemi, the engagement will offer an opportunity for in-depth discussions on key issues affecting Ogun State, while also enabling journalists to seek clarifications on policy positions and governance strategies.
He added that the committee is committed to ensuring a professional and impactful session that will enhance public understanding of the aspirant’s plans.
