Nigerian music icon, 2Baba, has joined forces with Defence Minister Chris Musa to launch a new initiative aimed at using music to counter violent narratives among young Nigerians.

2Baba emphasized the importance of using music as a tool for youth reorientation, promoting positive values, and transforming entertainment into a force for social impact. He believes that music has the power to inspire and motivate young people to make a positive difference in their communities.
The programme’s operational status and official name are yet to be disclosed, but 2Baba’s efforts are expected to contribute significantly to Nigeria’s peacebuilding efforts.
