In recognition of the consistent humanitarian kind gestures of Hon. Tolulope Oluwafikayo Ayinla Phillips towards the development of Ijaye and wellbeing of the people the eminent Chiefs and youths of Ijaye honour Hon. Tolulope Phillips with *Kunrumi Distinguished Award.*
The event took place yesterday night on 4th October, 2024 preceding Ijaye day celebration with the presence of some Ijaye/Egba high Chiefs, youth leaders and notable journalists.
Preceding the presentation of the awards to the distinguished awardees the audience were entertained with fun and laughter as the MC and talking drummers entertain the audience with top notch performance.
The award was presented by high Chief Dr. Bunmi Fasola, Bale Olorunsogo to Hon. Tolulope Phillips in ground style. Dr. Chief Fasola affirms the award is a well deserved award in recognition of Hon. Phillips consistent support towards the growth and welfare of Ijaye community and mankind.
In response, Hon TP acknowledges the special recognition bestowed on him and promises to influence other Ijaye indigenes both home and abroad to give back to their home town. He went further to support Ijaye community with some amount of money as donation towards the development of the community.
