Preparations have reached top gear for the highly anticipated comedy concert of the year, Unscripted 4.0, hosted by renowned comedian, Olusho Agba. The event is scheduled to hold on November 30 at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL) Marquee, Abeokuta.
Over the years, Olusho Agba has continued to build a strong global presence through his annual comedy franchise, and the 2025 edition promises to unite some of the biggest acts in both the comedy industry and Nollywood.
Speaking at a press conference on Tuesday at the NUJ Secretariat, Abeokuta, the convener, Kayode Abiodun, popularly known as Olusho Agba, reaffirmed his commitment to raising the standard of entertainment in Nigeria. He noted that the show, which began as a modest dream, has now grown into a promising global brand.
“We started small, but we have always had a global mindset. Today, the brand is expanding beyond our expectations, and we believe this edition will further place us on the world map,” he said.
The entertainer revealed that Unscripted 4.0 has secured backing from major sponsors, including Checkers Custard, IBD Foundation, Oluwalogbon Electronics, and Pelican Valley, alongside several other partners.
This year’s edition will parade top personalities from the entertainment scene, with performances expected from Dr. Ayo Ajewole (Woli Agba), Dr. Smile, Baba Lariya, among other comedians and Nollywood stars.
Olusho Agba assured fans that the 2025 edition will deliver an unforgettable experience.
“This year’s show will be filled with truth, laughter and unscripted realities. It will be a night to remember,” he added.
He also used the platform to appeal to the government to intensify efforts in creating a safer and more supportive environment for talented young Nigerians.
“The more the government supports the youth, the more the youth will be inspired to contribute meaningfully to society,” he said, while calling for enhanced security across the state.
