*ADC Vows to Prioritize Merit Over Zoning in 2027, Unveils Vision for Ogun’s Development*
The African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Ogun State has reaffirmed its preparedness for the 2027 general elections, pledging to present candidates fully committed to the development and welfare of the people.
Speaking at a press briefing, the Ogun State Chairman of ADC, Otunba Dr. Femi Soluade, emphasized that unlike other political parties preoccupied with zoning arrangements, the ADC is focused on merit, integrity, and the capacity to govern effectively.
The chairman outlined the party’s vision, stating that ADC intends to implement policies that will enhance infrastructure, education, healthcare, and economic opportunities across Ogun State.
He stressed that the party is committed to inclusive governance, ensuring that every community benefits from developmental projects and social interventions.
“Our focus is not on political convenience or agreements but on selecting leaders who are ready to serve with integrity, accountability, and dedication.
ADC believes in empowering the people and transforming Ogun into a model of progress and good governance,” he added.
He further noted that the party will address pressing challenges such as corruption and unemployment, while promoting transparent governance and creating job opportunities for the youth.
With grassroots mobilization already in motion, Soluade declared that “it is time for another vision to lead Ogun, and ADC is prepared to produce the leader who will truly work for the state and its people.”
Positioning itself as a credible alternative, the ADC assured citizens of a government that prioritizes the welfare of the people over political expediency.
