Ogun Police Launch Investigation into Hotel Supervisor’s Mysterious Death
The Ogun State Police Command has commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of Mr. Adedokun Oluyemi, a hotel supervisor at Solution One Hotel in Abeokuta.
Oluyemi’s lifeless body was discovered in his hotel room on Saturday morning by a bar assistant, Taiyelolu.
According to the Police spokesperson, Omolola Odutola, Taiyelolu raised an alarm after finding Oluyemi unresponsive despite multiple attempts to reach him.
The matter was subsequently reported at the Oke Itoku division, prompting the deployment of a Police team to the scene.
Upon arrival, the Police team found no visible signs of violence on Oluyemi’s body. Odutola explained that Oluyemi’s body was transported to the State Hospital, Ijaye, Abeokuta, where it was deposited at the mortuary for an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.
The State Criminal Investigation Department will take over the case to conduct a thorough review of the preliminary findings.
Odutola extended the command’s condolences to Oluyemi’s colleagues and family, advising hotel staff to prioritize medical insurance and regular checkups.
The Police are urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward, as they work to unravel the mystery surrounding Oluyemi’s death.
The investigation is ongoing, and the Police are committed to ensuring that justice is served.
