The Ogun State Police Command has confirmed the assassination of Gideon Ebukwe by unidentified armed men at Ok Winners Hotel, Igbosoro, Igode, in the Sagamu Local Government area According to the Command’s Spokesperson, SP Omolola Odutola, the incident occurred on Tuesday at 3:30 p.m.
The CDC Chairman, Atobatele Igbosoro, reported the incident, stating that a group of five unidentified armed men stormed the hotel and attacked Ebukwe, whose address is currently unknown. The hotel staff, mostly women, were locked in another room while the assailants proceeded directly to the guest’s room.
