…I remain the rightful Baale of Akinjole town- Chief Saheed Abiodun Akinjole
The Akintona Family in Akinjole town, Ewekoro Local Government, Ogun State has urged the Baale of Akinjole town in Ewekoro Local Government, Ogun State, High Chief Said Abiodun Akinjole to vaccate the stool.
The family in a statement signed by its head, Chief Olusiji Akintona Thomas said that Chief Akinjole has been parading himself as Baale of Akinjole town.
The family disclosed that Chief Olanrewaju Monday Akintona remained the authentic Baale of the community, saying that the Alake of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo has confirmed him as the Baale.
Our correspondent also recieved a soft copy of a statement confirming Chief Monday Akintona as the authentic Baale of the community.

CONFIRMATION OF BAALE OF AKINJOLE VILLAGE, EWEKORO
I write to confirm to the Executive Chairman that Chief Olanrewaju Monday Akintona was installed by me as the Prescibed Authority over Akinjole Village, Ewekoro on 24th June, 2020 as Baale Al injole.
My statutory position was confirmed by the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs in its letter of 9th September, 2020. Copies attached herewith.
Kindly extend to him all privileges attached to the office of Baale of Akinjole Village as he remains the authentic Baale of the Village, please.

In his reaction, Chief Said Abiodun Akinjole who is the Baale of Akinjole said he remains the rightful Baale of the community.
He alsodebunked the rumour that he has been parading himself as community head of Akinjole, urging the public to disregard the fake report.
The community head while speaking with newsmen on Friday at his palace maintained he was installed as Baale by the Alawowo of Awowo land, Oba Abdul Gafar Olasunkanmi Tijanni with duly signed certificate of Chieftaincy title issued to him.
The community head informed that he has brought about development to the community for over six years such as So Safe Security Post, Solar Street Lights, Distribution of school uniforms, Sandals, bags and with proposed primary health centre in the community.
He said ” I want to appreciate you journalists for coming to get the facts from me. I am the Baale of Akinjole town under Ewekoro Local Government. I was installed by our monarch, Oba Abdul Gafar Olasunkanmi Tijanni, the Alawowo of Awowo land and he issued a certificate to me as recognized Baale and i have been serving Akinjole community for over six years now without any crisis in the community, i recently celebrated my 6years coronation anniversary so i want to ask will you now believe their rumour that i am parading my self as Baale of Akinjole town. They are just making noise, i don’t need to repond to them” we have brought development to the community such as So Safe Security Post, streetlights, proposed health centre, distribution of school uniforms, Sandals and books to students who can not afford to buy the materials”
He therefore urged the general public to disregard the report that he is parading himself as Baale of Akinjole town
The Chairman Council of Baales, Awowo ward 9, Chief Yisa Ogunbowale while speaking with newsmen said that Chief Akinjole is the only person he knows as Baale of Akinjole town, saying that any other person is counterfeit.
He submitted that Chief Akinjole has contributed immensely to the development of the community, saying that the people of the community are proud of his achievements.
