The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State is reeling from the sudden death of its newly elected Assistant Publicity Secretary, Karamo Yesiro, who passed away barely 24 hours after his re-election at the party’s state congress held at Onikan Stadium.
Yesiro’s untimely demise has sent shockwaves through the party, with members mourning the loss of a vibrant and dedicated party man. The Lagos APC chairman, Cornelius Ojelabi, and other executives had been re-elected via consensus at the state congress on Tuesday. Yesiro’s death is a significant blow to the party, coming at a critical time when the party is gearing up for future elections.
