Gboyega Nasir Isiaka (GNI), Member of the House of Representatives representing Yewa North/Imeko-Afon Federal Constituency and Chairman, House Committee on National Planning and Economic Development, has extended heartfelt greetings to Muslim faithful as they commence the sacred month of Ramadan.
The APC governorship aspirant from Ogun West described Ramadan as a significant period of fasting, prayer, sacrifice, and compassion in line with the fourth pillar of Islam.
He wished Muslims a season of peace, reflection, and spiritual fulfillment.
GNI also called for religious tolerance and peaceful coexistence, noting that Christians are equally observing the Lenten season, which begins with Ash Wednesday.
He stressed the importance of unity among people of different faiths in fostering harmony and national development.
The renowned economist reaffirmed his commitment to identifying with the Muslim community throughout the fasting period and pledged to continue championing the values of peace, unity, and communal harmony that define Ramadan.
“Ramadan is a time of deep reflection, sacrifice, and unity,” he said.
As the holy month progresses, Isiaka urged Muslim faithful to remain steadfast and committed to national growth, encouraging prayers for peace and tranquility in Nigeria in support of the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
He concluded by expressing hope for a spiritually rewarding season filled with sincere devotion and collective commitment to building a more prosperous nation.
