A Federal House of Representatives member , representing Egbado South/Ipokia Constituency of Ogun State, Hon. Abiodun Akinlade has said that Ogun west is ready for the 2027 governorship election, seeking for the support of other senatorial districts in the State.
The reps member disclosed this on Wednesday during a strategic stakeholders meeting held at june 12, cultural center.
The dignitaries present at the meeting were, the Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dr Dapo Abiodun, former governor of Ogun State, Chief Olusegun Osoba, State party chairman, Chief Yemi Sanusi, Senator Shuaib, reps Olumide Osoba, former deputy governors; Sen Adegbenga Kaka, Prince Segun Adesegun, Alhaja Salmot Badru, the minister of Communication, Innovation and Digital Economy, Dr Bosun Tijani, the Minister of State for Health, Dr Kunle Salako , te Senator representing Ogun West Senatorial District, Senator Olamilekan Adeola, yayi amongst others.
Akinlade urged the public to disregard report that there is no unity, peace and harmony in Ogun West, saying that it just an imagination of the writer of the report.
He also commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his landmark achievements since his assumption into office.
The APC Chieftain said that the current administration has witnessed notable improvements in all sectors.
“We are here today to tell ourselves that in Nigeria today there is only one party and that party is APC and also to tell Nigerians that we are doing very well, if you look at where we are today and where are coming from, Nigeria is becoming stable in economy, if u look at the dollar now the exchange rate is coming down and when you look at appointment today many of our youths are in good positions.
President Tinubu is committed to build the future of Nigeria, we have a cause to celebrate.
“Ogun west is ready, we just need support of other senatorial districts, there is unity, we are united, there is harmony, there is peace in Ogun West, whatever we are hearing today or reading in the newspapers or social media is just the imagination of the writer of the report.
When it is time we come together and choose the right person that Ogun State will be proud of” he concluded
