The former Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Ogun Area 1 Command, Hammed Oloyede, has been promoted to the rank of Assistant Comptroller of Customs (ACC).
Oloyede is widely respected within and outside the service for his hard work, dedication, and professionalism. His promotion is seen as a well-deserved reward for years of diligence, integrity, and commitment to duty.
In 2023, he was first promoted to Deputy Superintendent of Customs (DSC) after an outstanding performance as the spokesman of the Ogun Area 1 Command. Following that, he was deployed to the Service Headquarters in Abuja, where he also distinguished himself.
During his tenure as PRO in Idiroko, Oloyede built strong relationships with the media, earning praise from journalists across Ogun State and beyond for his openness and professionalism. His approach made the command’s operations more transparent and accessible to the public.
Recognizing his exceptional qualities, the then newly deployed Controller of Ogun Area 1 Command, Comptroller Godwin Otunla, specifically requested for his return. Oloyede was subsequently redeployed to Idiroko, where he resumed duties with renewed energy and excellence.
