As the holy month of Ramadan commences, the Councilor representing Ward 2, Abeokuta South Local Government of Ogun State, Hon. Ismail Juwon Sanyaolu, has called on Muslim faithful in the state to pray for the success of Governor Dapo Abiodun and his cabinet.
According to Hon. Ismail Juwon Sanyaolu, Islam teaches that followers should pray for their leaders, and the period of Ramadan is the most auspicious time to do so. He noted that Governor Dapo Abiodun needs the prayers of the Muslim community to succeed in his administration.
The Councilor described praying for the governor as a way of promoting a sense of unity and cooperation between the government and the people. The month of Ramadan should not be limited to just fasting, but we should also use this period to pray for our leaders,” said Hon. Ismail Juwon Sanyaolu.
“Islam teaches that followers should pray for their leaders, and the period of Ramadan is the most auspicious time to do so. He encouraged Muslim faithful to use this holy month to seek Allah’s mercy and guidance for the governor and his team.
Hon. Ismail Juwon Sanyaolu, further stated, “I urge Muslim faithful in Ogun State to pray for Governor Abiodun’s success and divine guidance during this holy month of Ramadan.” He believes that the prayers of the Muslim community can make a significant impact on the governor’s administration and the state as a whole.
