We, the foremost youth group in Ipokia Local Government under the leadership and members of Ipokia Local Government Youth Forum (IPYF); extend our heartfelt gratitude to you for your exceptional commitment to the development of our beloved Ipokia Local Government. The commissioning of numerous developmental projects under your leadership has brought significant progress and hope to our communities. Your dedication to the welfare of Ogun West Senatorial District is evident, and we are immensely proud of your contributions.
Majorly, the most recently commissioned projects across the length and breadth of Ipokia Local Government under your facilitation have demonstrated your passion for transforming our district and addressing the needs of the citizens. These initiatives have not only helped our people thrive but have also impacted the lives of our people positively.
Furthermore, your ongoing developmental revolution in our dear Local Government has opened our communities to prosperity and unprecedented developmental index. To this end, On behalf of the entire Ipokia Local Government indigenes and inhabitants, we say *”THANK YOU FOR COMING TO OUR AID SIR!”*
However, as we celebrate these achievements; human wants are said to be insatiable and unlimited. In line with this, we humbly want to bring to your attention; some pressing concerns and requests for further development in Ipokia Local Government as it affects our daily lives. Here are our requests:
• *CONSTRUCTION OF A LINK BRIDGE*: We request the construction of a bridge connecting Ipokia Local Government to Badagry in Lagos State. This bridge would facilitate seamless transportation, promote trade and foster stronger socio-economic ties between the two regions. Imperatively, it will enhance tourism that will metamorphose into economic prosperity for our dear Local Government.
• *FACILITATION OF A FEDERAL HIGHER EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION*: Inline with your commitment to advancing education and opportunities for our people, we humbly request your facilitation of the establishment of a federal institution in Ipokia Local Government. After upgrading Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro into a full flesh Federal University; henceafter, it is imperative to note that Ipokia Local Government possess such educational thirstiness too, as we already have a wasteful Ogun State Polytechnic, Ipokia that has hit a stumbling block after lots of unfulfilled promises to revitalize it.
It will interest you to note Sir, our erstwhile House of Representatives Hon. Kolawole Lawal Moboluwaduro (KLM) has proposed a bill to this effect but doesn’t see the light of the day. We want you to continue using your good office to bridge the years of underdevelopmental gap in Ipokia Local Government.
Sir, erecting a federal institution in Ipokia Local Government will present a unique opportunity to attract foreign students due to our proximity to the border with our sister countries, create jobs, increase commerce, equip our youths with skills and knowledge to compete with the fast growing innovative technology market in the world today.
We believe that addressing these needs will further solidify your legacy of impactful representation and development in Ipokia Local Government and Ogun West at large.
