The newly appointed Supervisory Councillor, Hon Obayemi Oloyede, has appreciated the Oyo State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, Otunba Ademola Ojo over his new appointment.
The New political appointee, popularly known as Obazy, described the appointment as best new year gift.
Oloyede, in his appreciation message, said his appointment is a call to serve the good people of Ibarapa North.
The young politician explained that the appointment is another testament to Ademola’s firm belief in the youth through their incorporated into partisan politics and other forms of empowerment.
He added that the politician has arrays of youth who had passed through his political academy, mentorship and tutelage which has yielded remarkable results.
“I sincerely appreciate my principal, Hon Ademola’s leadership and trust he has in my ability which resulted in my appointment as Supervisory Councillor in my local council”, he said.
“Oga has again demonstrated his unwaivering support and commitment to the development of youth at the grassroot level in line with the popular saying that every politics is local” Obazy commended.
“The youth oriented government at the grassroot level template being set by Hon Ademola right from his time as Ibarapa Central Local Government Chairman is now being emulated and implemented in many local government areas ” he asserted.
“I assure that I am ready and will be fully dedicated to this new call to service with every sense of responsibility to make the council records more unprecedented achievements” the new appointee pledged.
Oloyede, however, thanked Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, House of Assembly member representing Ibarapa North/Central State Constituency, Hon Peter Ojedokun, Chairman of Ibarapa North Local Government, Hon Akorede Lateef, among others, for the opportunity given to him while promised to justify the trust they repose in him.
