The suspect, Jeje Sunday Babalola, claimed he removed the pole due to its inconvenient placement, despite being installed for several months. However, his actions raised suspicions, and further investigation revealed that he had carried the pole to his residence, nearly two kilometers away from its original position.
The Divisional Crime Branch swiftly responded to the incident, led by the Divisional Police Officer. After visiting the site, they arrested Babalola and searched his house, where the stolen solar light pole was recovered.
