Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY) yesterday held its inaugural Made-in-Mapoly Distinguished Entrepreneurs Awards and Exhibition, recognizing outstanding entrepreneurs who have made significant contributions to the Nigerian economy.

The renowned broadcaster, an entrepreneur who is also the assistant general manager, Fresh 107.9 FM, Abeokuta, Dr Adeyinka Adegbite popularly known as Ọmọ-Bàbá-Tíṣà was among those honored for his innovative approaches to education. Other awardees are Mrs Doyin Kukoyi of Gbajumo Osere, Mr Hakeem Salami, a successful entrepreneur who developed educational App, Mr Adeola Yusuf a reputable journalist who specialises on Oil and Gas reporting.
The Made-in-Mapoly Distinguished Entrepreneurs Awards who has Dr. Hafiz Oyetoro as guest lecturer, aims to promote entrepreneurship, innovation, and economic growth, aligning with MAPOLY’s mission to produce skilled and entrepreneurial graduates.
MAPOLY’s Rector, Dr. Adeoye Odedeji, praised the awardees for their dedication to entrepreneurship and job creation, stating that they have demonstrated exceptional leadership and innovation, inspiring the next generation of entrepreneurs.
The event with theme; “Skills! Not just degree”, featured an exhibition showcasing products and services developed by MAPOLY students and alumni, highlighting the institution’s commitment to fostering entrepreneurship and self-employment.
The awardees expressed gratitude to MAPOLY for the recognition, pledging to continue contributing to Nigeria’s economic development.
