The victim, who had just arrived in Ibadan from Lagos, boarded Kazeem’s motorcycle at Olorunsogo area, intending to travel to Adeshina area. However, Kazeem diverted to an unfamiliar route, claiming he needed to pick up something from his wife’s shop. He eventually took her to Ogbere area, where the alleged rape occurred. ¹
During interrogation, Kazeem admitted to having a sexual relationship with the victim but claimed it was consensual. Conversely, the medical report revealed bruises around the victim’s private parts, contradicting Kazeem’s assertion. ¹
