The National Association of Polytechnic Students (NAPS) has achieved a remarkable milestone, celebrating 30 years of promoting polytechnic students’ interests in Nigeria.
Comrade Ridwan Opeyemi Munirudeen, NAPS National President, expressed gratitude to Almighty God and distinguished guests at the anniversary celebration.
Notable attendees included Prof. Idris M. Bugaje, Executive Secretary of the National Board for Technical Education, and Hon. Fuad Kayode Laguda, Chairman of the House Committee on Polytechnics.
Representatives from organizations like PTDF, ITF, NBRRI, and the Director General of NTA were also present.
Polytechnics such as Auchi Polytechnic, Federal Polytechnic Nasarawa, and Kaduna Polytechnic showed strong mobilization and support.
ESV Armstrong Ovie-Afabor led the planning committee, earning praise for their efforts.
Comrade Munirudeen commended fellow NAPS executives, senate members, and stakeholders for their contributions.
The 30th-anniversary celebration marks a significant chapter in NAPS’ history, highlighting its commitment to quality education and student welfare.
NAPS continues to strive for excellence, solidifying its enduring impact on Nigeria’s educational landscape.
The organization’s motto, “Aluta Continua! Victoria Ascerta!!” embodies its unwavering spirit and dedication to its mission.
