Abuja, Nigeria – Mele Kyari, Managing Director and Group Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), has expressed gratitude for the outpouring of support following the passing of his daughter, Fatima.
In a heartfelt statement released on Monday, Kyari described Fatima’s departure as occurring at her “appointed time,” adding that he looked forward to reuniting with her in Jannah by Allah’s grace. “My daughter Fatima departed at her appointed time, and I look forward to meeting her in Jannah by Allah’s grace. While the loss is great by all measures, we remain grateful to God for all his mercies,” Kyari said.
Fatima’s life, though marked by physical challenges, had a profound impact on those around her. According to Kyari, her passing has brought people together, demonstrating that care and compassion can transcend social circumstances.
Kyari praised Fatima’s resilience and spirit, saying, “I didn’t know the depth of her connections with many people and what she meant to many.” Her legacy continues to inspire and uplift those who knew her.
