A devastating incident occurred on Saturday in the Oshodi area of Lagos State, leaving a 50-year-old man, identified as Emmanuel, dead. The victim was crushed to death by a train near Arena Shopping Mall.
According to Benjamin Hundeyin, spokesman for the Lagos State Police Command, the incident was reported to the Mosafejo Division of the command around 1:33 pm on Saturday.

A police team was immediately deployed to the scene, and the area was cordoned off to ensure public safety. The scene was visited and photographed by a team of detectives.
Hundeyin confirmed that the corpse has been taken to a public morgue for autopsy. The case has been transferred to the Railway Police Command in Ebute Metta for further investigation.
