Faisal Ahmed Mohammed Makarfi, the son of former Kaduna State Governor Ahmed Mohammed Makarfi, has tragically passed away in a road accident. The incident occurred along the Kaduna-Zaria highway on Saturday evening.
According to a family source, Faisal was involved in an auto crash and was rushed to an undisclosed hospital where he was declared dead. His father, Ahmed Mohammed Makarfi, was present at the hospital and arrangements are currently being made for Faisal’s burial.
Faisal was a talented and promising young individual. He was a civil engineer by training, having attended prestigious institutions such as Kaduna International School and Adesoye College in Offa, Kwara State.
Faisal furthered his education at the University of Greenwich in London, where he completed his undergraduate and master’s degrees. He was also pursuing his PhD at the same institution. His academic achievements and professional aspirations serve as a testament to his potential and dedication.
Ahmed Mohammed Makarfi, Faisal’s father, is a well-known figure in Nigerian politics. He served as the Governor of Kaduna State and Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). Unfortunately, Makarfi was unavailable for comment at the time of filing this report.
