Adeleke Adeyinka, a councilorship aspirant in Ward 15, South Abeokuta Local Government, was brutally murdered in Abeokuta, Ogun State. His lifeless body was discovered in the Oke-Ilewo area, shocking the community.
Eyewitnesses report that Adeyinka was relaxing with friends at a local spot when unidentified assailants attacked him. The motive behind the killing remains unclear.
Police authorities have commenced investigations into the incident, promising swift action against perpetrators.
“This senseless killing will not go unpunished,” said SP Omolola Odutola, Ogun State Police Spokesperson. “We urge anyone with information to come forward.”
