Ogun Police Arrest 41-Year-Old Ibrahim Aliu for Heinous Crime
A shocking case of child abuse has led to the arrest of 41-year-old Ibrahim Aliu, who allegedly defiled his 12-year-old daughter repeatedly. The Ogun State Police Command made the arrest on Thursday.
Temitope Egbebi, Aliu’s estranged wife, reported the incident at the Oja Odan Divisional Police Office. Her swift action ensured the suspect’s prompt arrest.
According to SP Omolola Odutola, police spokesperson, Aliu confessed during interrogation. The abuse began approximately two years ago, during holiday visits.
Egbebi noticed untreated vaginal discharge and sought medical attention for her daughter. Further investigation exposed Aliu’s heinous actions.
Aliu’s arrest demonstrates the Ogun State Police Command’s commitment to protecting vulnerable individuals, particularly children, from abuse and exploitation. The case will be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department for further investigation.
