PDP is the only party that has solution to Nigeria’s challenges – Segun Sowunmi

A Cheiftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ogun state, Segun Sowunmi has described the party has the only hope of Nigerians amidst the current economic upheaver.

Sowunmi assured Nigerians that the situation will be a thing of the past when the PDP takes over power from the rulling All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2027.
Sowunmi made the disclosure during the Party’s Local government congress on Saturday.
The exercise which was held across the 20 local governments of the state, saw PDP faithful trooped out in large numbers to elect their executives at the local level.
The congress was also monitored by officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC amidst tight security.
Segun Sowunmi who emerged the party National delegate in the state during the exercise, insisted that the party must keep its unity in order to deliver Nigerians from the “APC’s inflicted gardship”.
“The opposition party must prepare itself as the hope of the people of Nigeria and that is the singular reason why we are here”, Sowunmi noted.
“Go back home after today, beg your brothers beg, your sisters, accommodate them. The umbrella is big enough to accommodate all fair-minded and loyal party members”, He added
Sowunmun lauded the efforts of party’s Governorship candidate, Ladi Abutu in keep the party united despite the crisis that bedivled the PDP in tge state.
The argued that the party remined the winner of the 2023 hovernorship election in the state “but it was rigged by the rulling party”.
“This is the party that we have lal labored and suffered for. And we continue to suffer it. We will not tolerating those who cannot stand in one place. You can’t be in PDP and run to a other party tomorrow. Let us stay united to win in 2027
